Today always stays today

Never is tomorrow or yesterday

Today never goes away like yesterday

It's not coming in the future like tomorrow

But stays put in its ever present place

And passes through time

Stuck in a wonderful and perfect Day

Along time ago

It has been too long

But I do write on paper

Can I write right here

To say something worthwhile

I like to rhyme not just run text

So this is but a simple test

To see if I can return to you

Writing words if letters to you

Yes, more than a friend you are

A Lord and King supreme & more

He who formed the stars above

Earth beneith the heaven above

Can I say you're more than Lord

More than I imagined here below

From above all good things flow
