Get a Job, Sha da da dah


Junk yard dog, treasure hunting dude

   Finding more time to look in the waste land garbage dump

      Than in the “help wanted” section of the News!



Life of ease, though hard for lack of bread

   The man who wastes time vainly

      Should be working instead!



Tons of excuses never find a job,

   But looking hard everywhere

      Will find you plenty to eat!



And though your work for the minimum

   You’ll eat all you enjoy and more

      Than loafing with your buddies, hungry and broke!



So be wise in your poverty

   Or waste your time and money instead

      Weekend comes with no pay check

And you’ll still be lacking bread!
